Finding the jewel in glass and metal fusion

As a little girl growing up in Armagh, Paula Boyle was fascinated with her grandmother’s jewellery box. It was full of vintage pieces, pearls and brooches.

Today, the young jewellery designer counts the wives of the French and Cypriot ambassadors to Ireland as her clients.

With the help of a grant and business mentor from the Dublin City Enterprise Board, Paula and her sister Aileen set up Uccelli in Dublin in 2002.
