Fashion week generates over €1m in sales

Last week’s Dublin Fashion Week resulted in more than €1 million worth of sales for the 24 designers who took part, according to its organiser.

Sonia Reynolds, former model and promoter of the event, said it attracted more than 140 fashion buyers and media representatives. By taking place early in the season, it gave Irish designers a chance to show their work ahead of the London, Milan and Paris shows, she said.
