Edelman appointment

Mark Cahalane has been appointed general manager of Edelman (Dublin) public relations.

Cahalane, who was previously executive director at Drury Communications where he specialised in corporate, financial and communications and government relations, will head the office of 20 PR consultants.

Edelman Dublin, which was named Edelman's office of the year in both 2003 and 2002, was previously led by Hugh Gillanders.
