A new €74 million fund will pay dental bills for abuse victims who lost teeth in industrial schools.

A new ���74 million fund will pay dental bills for abuse victims who lost teeth in industrial schools.

The Caranua organisation has been set up to spend the money donated by religious congregations to help 15,000 victims of physical and sexual abuse in industrial schools.

Caranua chief executive Mary Higgins said that one of the key demands from the 1,500 people who had applied so far was for dental treatment.
