Duo create Microsoft Office as Gaeilge

A translation company based in Co Clare is creating an Irish version of Microsoft Office to be launched this summer.

eTeams has been working on theMicrosoft project since last October. “We have had eight translators working on the project, which has involved translating 300,000 words from English into Irish,” said director Nana Luke. eTeams has an international pool of 500 freelance translators and 150 other personnel, offering translation, localisation, proof-reading and related publishing services.
