Deadline clock is ticking for disclosure

The May 22 deadline for taxpayers to make a declaration of intention to make a voluntary disclosure in respect of undeclared tax in relation to life-assurance products has passed.

Since that date the focus of attention for taxpayers has been to gather the information required to enable them to calculate any under declaration of tax together with interest and penalties.
