City of the Tribes trumps its rivals

While industrial rents have stayed high in Galway, there's a greater supply of available space in Cork and Limerick, writes Donal Buckley.

Industrial rents in Galway have held up better than in the cities of Limerick and Cork, partly because there is less industrial space available in the western capital. With a 13.8 per cent vacancy rate, only 66,100 square metres are available in Galway and this space is only about a quarter of the space available in each of the other two regional cities.
