The premature revelation of the takeover approach to hotel group Jurys Doyle was underscored by the fact that two leading members of the Precinct consortium were on holiday last week in Italy and Vietnam.
Precinct is the consortium that bought the Gresham Hotel Group last year. Property developer Bryan Cullen, solicitor David Coleman and builder JJ Murphy are its members. Now it has made a formal approach to Jurys Doyle.
