Charities make little from card sales

Irish charities receive as little as 5 per cent of the sale price of charity Christmas cards, The Sunday Business Post can reveal.

A survey found that the Irish Hospice Foundation gets just 35 cent from each box of John Hinde Christmas cards, which retail for €6.95.
