3touch secures €2m in funding

3touch, a technology firm based at Athlone Institute of Technology (AIT), has closed a €2 million funding round and won several deals worth more than €1.5 million.

The funding came from Enterprise Ireland and a number of private investors, according to Eamonn Roarke, the chief executive of 3touch. He said the firm would use the money to develop and market its range of products for the conferencing and audio-visual market.
