The launch: Shop Simone Rocha’s new bag style – The Valentine

The new style forms part of the designer’s spring-summer 2024 collection

First presented during Rocha’s London Fashion Week show, the bag is now available to shop and comes in two different sizes and four different colour

Looking for a Valentine’s present that will pay dividends well past February 14? Simone Rocha has unveiled a new bag style, aptly named The Valentine, which forms part of the designer’s spring-summer 2024 collection.

First presented during Rocha’s London Fashion Week show, the bag, which is named after her eldest daughter, is now available to shop and comes in two different sizes and four different colours: black, nude, cream and oxblood.

This latest addition to the Simone Rocha brand is sold alongside two possible additions: a crystal beaded floral bouquet charm, sold with the bag, or a pearl and bell charm crossbody strap, sold separately.

The Valentine bag in nude, €1,150 (mini) and €1,385 (standard)

It has a detachable shoulder strap, as well as a cake box-inspired top handle, and a brass daisy-shaped closure encased with faux pearls, the iconic symbol of Rocha’s eponymous brand.

The bag is handcrafted in Italy and made of grain leather, while the faux pearls of the closure, floral bouquet charm and crossbody strap are made of resin and brass, and the ribbon attached to the charm is 100 per cent polyester.

The bag also features a small inner pocket on the lining and bottom studs, while the pearl and daisy embellishments make it a true Rocha design.

Just last month, Rocha – a former Irish Tatler cover star – collaborated with Jean Paul Gaultier to show her first haute couture collection with the legendary designer at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week.

The Valentine bag is available online at www.simonerocha.com. Prices range from €1,150 to €1,625.
