Your guide to January’s most coveted luxury launches and collaborations

Parisian brands Sézane and Pangea have created a 21-piece collection that blends the former’s signature tailoring with Pangea’s illustrative style

A January wardrobe

Cashmere sweater, €1,050

Toteme’s charcoal grey scarf jacket was the viral fashion moment of 2023, but this year, the Scandinavian brand is breaking step from chic outerwear to launch an athleisure collection. Its weekend capsule collection, exclusive to Net-A-Porter, is a 32-piece drop that features a blend of apparel and accessories in neutral colourways that still speak to the brand’s affinity “for creating a uniform”. From cashmere joggers and cotton turtleneck sweaters, to baseball caps, leather trainers and nylon totes, it’s the type of January wardrobe we’ll gladly get behind. net-a-porter.com

The coveted collaboration

Organic cotton embroidered jacket, €145

A favourite of Irish Tatler, Parisian brand Sézane has already dreamed up a collection we're coveting in 2024, with the launch of its new collection in partnership with Pangea. A like minded Parisian brand that is driven by sustainable practices, Pangea was founded by French artist Laëtitia Rouget and fashion designer Colombine Jubert. The duo’s travel-themed collection blends Pangea’s illustrative, print-laden style with Sézane’s signature tailoring and Gallic style. sezane.com

Sustainable steps

Denim headband, €790

Miu Miu Upcycled is an innovative solution by the Italian luxury brand to address the urgent need for more circular design practices. First launching in 2020, the initiative offers limited edition collections of reworked and upcycled vintage garments that have been given the Miu Miu treatment. Its fourth drop puts the focus on Y2K denim separates like trucker jackets, jeans and shorts, alongside more embellished variations like a hand-embroidered denim headband with beaded flowers and a trucker jacket with a velvet collar and black beaded embroidery. miumiu.com

The wish list item

Velvet wide-leg pants, €620

A roster of new styles have hit the shelves of Havana Boutique in Donnybrook, Dublin 4, like timeless and relaxed smock dresses from Scandi label Cecilie Bahnsen, the perfect work-to-life houndstooth printed dress from Emilia Wickstead, and signature print-laden separates from American designer Ulla Johnson. On our wish list, though, is the perfectly tailored wide-leg velvet pants from Johnson, which make a solid case for velvet staying in our wardrobes well beyond party season. havanaboutique.ie
