Payday picks: The new season styles worth your spend at Kildare Village

Spring has officially sprung at Kildare Village, with a fresh drop of brands and styles now available to shop at the retail destination known for making luxury more affordable.

The designer outlet offered fashion press an exclusive first look – for the first time – at the best of its current season collections, which are now available to shop, as well past season collections from its roster of over 120 brands, with discounts of up to 40 per cent on designer labels in the show.

Styled by international stylist Tallulah Harlech, the show opened with a military look from Diesel and closed with a statement red velvet fishtail evening gown from Paul Costello at Curated by Design Centre. Other brands worth noting in the line-up included Italian fashion label Missoni and Parisian brands Maje and Sandro.

Through her unique styling, Harlech presented a variety of pieces from Kildare Village including everyday attire, trending must-haves and luxury occasion wear – it was the perfect mix of high-low dressing that speaks to the kind of destination Kildare Village is: one that caters for every wardrobe and occasion.

“To style the show, I first allowed myself to be drawn to pieces like an editor; one who gravitates towards pieces that speak to them. Then, during fittings, it became about understanding the model standing in front of me.

“The show included a heavy nod to Glenn Marten’s Diesel, peppered with contemporary brands available at Kildare Village, and rounded off with Paul Costelloe’s more standout pieces,” Harlech said of the show.

Harlech is the fashion editor at London-based POP magazine and has most recently worked alongside Irish designer Michael Stewart of Standing Ground for his spring-summer 2024 collection and campaign.

Harlech’s mother, creative consultant Amanda Harlech, was a muse of Karl Lagerfeld and had a long-standing working relationship with Chanel alongside consultancy at John Galliano. So, having a tasteful eye is pretty much part of Harlech’s makeup.

Among Irish Tatler’s hero pieces was a viscose ombre maxi dress by Missoni, a satin champagne co-ord by Irish designer Sinead Keary and of course, statement sculptural gowns by Paul Costelloe. Below, see our edit of high-low picks from the show that might help to round off your payday.
