We’re in the final week of Barack Obama’s White House. He was the first United States president to write a line of code. His administration updated the White House’s ageing technology infrastructure, established the US Digital Services, created ‘internal start-up’ 18F, and hired Megan Smith as the first White House chief technology officer.

Under Obama, net neutrality was protected, which is vital to any business that relies on telecommunications (ie all of them). ...
