British and Irish pensions will still travel after a no-deal Brexit

The Common Travel Area agreement between Ireland and Britain should take some of the sting out of Brexit for Irish citizens

Thank goodness for the Common Travel Area (CTA) agreement between Ireland and Britain.

With no sign of an end to the Brexit confusion, deal or no deal, nearly all the significant features within the CTA will continue to apply – the freedom of travel for Irish and British citizens between our two countries; the right to live, work and vote; and access to healthcare, education and social welfare benefits including pensions.
