Group wants end to €30k minimum salary rule for asylum seekers

The Movement of Asylum Seekers in Ireland (MASI) has called for asylum seekers to be allowed to work in Ireland without restrictions or discrimination.

Speakers at the launch of its right to work campaign last week described the interim right-to-work scheme introduced by the government in response to a recent Supreme Court decision as restrictive, unworkable and unfair.
