Irish telcos gear up to spread 5G and fibre nationwide

More than six years on from the creation of the first gigabit town in Skibbereen and three years on from the first 5G launch, Ireland’s telecoms industry remains in an intense investment mode that is seeing fibre broadband rolled out to millions of premises and scores of new mobile sites popping up across the island.
