Glanbia earnings jump to almost €350 million as it beats expectations

Revenue at the global nutrition group rose to €5.6 billion last year

Siobhán Talbot, the managing director of Glanbia, said the company’s Optimum Nutrition brand helped it deal with inflation.

Earnings before deductions rose by 13.5 per cent to €347 million at Glanbia last year, the company has announced.

The global nutrition group saw its revenue increase 21.2 per cent year-on-year in constant currency to €5.6 billion in 2022, according to annual results from the firm.

Meanwhile, adjusted earnings per share of 104.02 cent represented growth of 17.6 per cent in constant currency, exceeding analysts’ expectations. This is the group’s highest ever annual earnings performance.
