A dramatic rise in failed drug tests since the horseracing watchdog changed labs this year raises questions about past success

Grapes, a less than fresh variety, came to mind when the British Horseracing Authority (BHA) confirmed in March it was prepared to drug-test horses trained in Ireland before they raced in some of the major flat meetings in Britain.
