A Limerick man who runs a $10 billion health group in the US plans to back at least half a dozen Irish medtech and pharma companies over the coming year, he told The Sunday Business Post.
Michael Dowling, who emigrated out of extreme poverty in Ireland in the 1950s and built up a massive not-for-profit health empire in the US, signed a partnership agreement with Taoiseach Enda Kenny in New York last week.
