Merlyn Industries doubles profits to €4.9 million
Turnover for the company increased by 49 per cent in 2016
Merlyn Industries, the Kilkenny-based shower enclosure manufacturer, doubled in 2015 profits to €4.9 million, recently filed accounts show.
The company, which is backed by Broadlake, the investment firm managed by businessman Pete Smyth, posted €4.9 million in profits last year, up from €2.6 million in 2015. Turnover for the company increased by 49 per cent, rising from €19 million in 2015 to €30 million in 2016.
