Kerry Group pushing for €110m motorway upgrade

Kerry Group is pushing for a €110 million motorway upgrade to put an end to traffic gridlock for workers arriving at its new innovation centre.

It is creating 900 jobs in a €100 million “Global Technology and Innovation Centre”, which is nearing completion on a 28-acre site in the Millennium Park scheme outside Naas in Kildare. There are already more than 650 workers on site in temporary accommodation.

But access is becoming more difficult due to the increase in traffic on the N7/M7 route, which reduces from three lanes to two lanes at Naas.
