Irish green energy firm to sell off €29m of British solar farms

The industry is currently awaiting clarification from energy minister Denis Naughten

Irish solar energy developer BNRG Renewables has kicked off a sales process for its British solar farms.

The company, which has its headquarters in Dublin’s IFSC, has built tens of millions of euros worth of projects in Britain in recent years.

It is understood to be selling up to 20 megawatts of assets there in a process which is expected to close in the next six weeks.
