Fyffes buys second Canadian mushroom firm
Company says All Seasons will complement Highline deal
Fruit importer Fyffes has further expanded its presence in the mushroom industry by buying another Canadian producer in a deal worth €41m.
In April, Fyffes boughtCanadian mushroom producer Highline Produce. This morning, it announced the purchase of 100 per cent of All Seasons Mushrooms, which is based in British Columbia. The company is funding the acquisition through existing bank debt.
