Despite his PR blitz, Zuckerberg is still a hard man to pin down

Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg spoke largely off the record during his Irish visit last week, and doubts remain over his willingness to be formally questioned by governments, writes Emmet Ryan

Control still matters to Mark Zuckerberg. The Facebook boss was in Ireland last week, where he met TDs and said he’d be open to meeting a Dáil committee - but not the International Grand Committee in Westminster, or indeed anywhere else that it sits.

Similarly, he met several journalists and was happy to answer questions, but only off the record, save for one face-to-face with RTÉ.
