Molex, an American multinational, has been strongly criticised by a High Court judge for “grossly inadequate” and “negligent” discovery of records relating to the occurrence of neurodegenerative disorders among its employees in Ireland and the US.

The company, which has in recent years shut its Irish operations with the loss of 500 jobs, is being sued by Patrick McNally, a former employee, who has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.
