A trading update fromdrinks group C&C has underlined the difficulties Brexit is causing for Irish companies.

The company, which owns the Bulmers cider brand in Ireland and the Tennent’s beer and Magners cider brands in Britain, this morning said that its operating profit for the year to the end of February would be in the region of €94-96m.
