Jim Rice has been managing director of Schneider Electric Ireland for 15 years. Schneider makes energy management equipment, electrical and IT infrastructure. It employs 350 people in Kildare and Galway. Rice has held his current position for 15 years, having joined Schneider in 1999. He is president of the Ireland-France Chamber of Commerce, and sits on the executive committee of Ibec’s Irish Engineering Enterprises Federation.
