BAI calls in consultants to shape master plan for future

Consultancy firm Mediatique is expected to complete its research by the end of the year

The Broadcasting Authority of Ireland (BAI) has hired a British consultancy firm to carry out a major strategy review of the entire Irish broadcasting market.

London-based Mediatique, which has done large pieces of advisory and consultancy work for RTÉ and the BBC, is engaging with TV and radio broadcasters and other stakeholders on the framework future of Irish broadcasting and its licensing.
