Almost 40,000 mortgage customers hit by tracker scandal
So far, banks have paid out €647 million to customers in redress and compensation, up €67 million since the end of August last year
The number of customers hit by the tracker mortgage scandal has reached almost 40,000, according to new Central Bank data.
At the end of December some 39,800 mortgage customers had been impacted, an increase of 1,400 since the Central Bank’s last report.
