Accenture buys out Irish creative marketing agency Rothco

Advertising agency Rothco has been bought by global professional services company Accenture.

Rothco was founded in 1995 by chief executive Patrick Hickey and directors of strategy Paul Hughes and Patrick Ronaldson.

All three are directors of the unlimited company, along with managing director Richard Carr and group finance director John O’Sullivan.

Rothco employs about 160 people in Dublin.

Its clients include AIB, Tesco, Orchard Thieves, Rory McIlroy, the Defence Forces and Heineken.
