Web Summit apologises ‘for the hurt’ as it pulls invitation to far-left news site

The tech conference said it had reconsidered the presence of Grayzone after listening to other attendees

The Web Summit has rescinded its invitation for its 2022 conference to far-left news website Grayzone.

The publication has been accused by Ukranians of pushing Russian propaganda over the war in Ukraine. The independent news site, founded by Max Blumenthal, has also been accused of sympathetic coverage of authoritarian regimes.
