Two in five businesses to prioritise AI in 2024, despite low expectation of speedy returns

New research polling chief executive worldwide found 76 per cent of firms view the technology as a long-term necessity

More than two in five chief executives globally intend on making the integration of AI into their business model a key priority for 2024, a new survey has found.

According to EY’s CEO Outlook Pulse survey, which polled 1,200 leaders of large enterprises worldwide on the challenges and opportunities facing their firms this year, 41 per cent of leaders will focus on harnessing the potential of the new technology to drive efficiencies in their companies.
