Tastemaker: Designer Maria Fenlon on loving Ripley on Netflix, and the genius of Patrick Scott

A self-confessed art obsessive, the interior designer loves getting organised every Monday, and walks by the sea

Maria Fenlon: One of my biggest regrets is not becoming fluent in French. Picture: Ruth Maria Murphy

Maria Fenlon studied fine art sculpture at the Limerick School of Art and Design before training as an art and design teacher at the Crawford School of Art. She went back to college to study interior architecture and design after the birth of her youngest daughter, and set up her own interior design company in 2001. Her newest range, called Enhance, was inspired by the work of the artist Patrick Scott
