Revenue may call in sheriffs to collect up to €500m of business debt

Revenue could move to collect as much as half a billion euro of bad debts from thousands of struggling firms over the next six months.

Figures obtained by the Business Post show that Revenue is currently pursuing more than €830 million of unpaid debts.
