PwC aviation analysis: Industry set for €49bn profit, Boeing 737 Maxs won’t get certified

The aviation industry is expected to report $49 billion in operating profit this year, according to a new report.

Airline profitability turned a corner last year following the Covid-19 pandemic, and moved solidly back into the black, consulting firm PwC said it its 2024 ‘Aviation Industry Review & Outlook’.
