Funding to be used by the Irish-founded company to expand operations

NewsWhip, an Irish-founded news analytics platform, has raised $13 million (€12.1 million) in a funding round led by AshGrove Capital, a London-based specialty lending fund.

The funding is to be used by the company to expand operations. The firm which offers a real-time media monitoring platform, intends to increase headcount by 50 per cent over the next two years. The company employed around 50 people in 2021.
