Limerick Chamber finds home buyers squeezed out by state

First-time buyers in Limerick are being squeezed out of the new-build homes market by the state, research by Limerick Chamber of Commerce has shown.

A detailed analysis by the chamber, included in a letter to the Minister for Housing, Darragh O’Brien, in July, showed only four in ten new homes built in Limerick were acquired by owner-occupiers last year.
