Everseen, a retail tech company based in Cork, has raised over €65 million in a Series A follow-on funding round.

The company, which was founded by Alan O’Herlihy, is to use the financing to continue investment into its technology and for scaling purposes.

It is seeking to address a $100 billion a year inventory shrink problem in the global retail sector by focusing on checkout intelligence and driving measurable return on investment to its customers.

The company, a previous Fast 50 winner, has developed technology that is used by over half of the world’s top 15 retailers, including Walmart, to identify scanning errors and deliberate theft attempts, both of which cost retailers billions every year.
