Irish Independent publisher writes to Helen McEntee over safety concerns for staff in Dublin

Mediahuis, the publisher of the Irish Independent, wrote to Helen McEntee in September to raise concerns about the rising levels of violence in the city centre.

In a letter to the justice minister, signed by three top executives at Mediahuis Ireland, it was outlined that a number of violent attacks in the city were “the cause of great concern and anxiety to our staff”.
