Greencore raises profit forecast to £74 million

Convenience food company reports strong second half to year despite inflation feares after it had originally projected £70 million

Greencore, the Irish convenience food company, is raising its projection for its full-year profit forecast to between £74 million and £76 million.

That’s more than the general analyst consensus that the company would have a full-year operating profit of £70.1 million, the company said.

It comes as the company announced a 4 per cent rise in revenues in the fourth quarter of 2023, and a 13 per cent rise in its full-year revenues.
