Amazon has lost a case to exempt its retail business from EU rules forcing tech giants to publish details on their advertisers.

The vice-president of the European Court of Justice - the EU’s highest court - said on Wednesday that the bloc’s interests trump the online retailer’s right to privacy and its freedom to conduct business.
