easyJet on course for record profits but warns summer strikes will be ‘challenging’

easyJet, the budget airline, has said it expects to deliver record profits over its peak season but issued a warning over a “challenging” summer of airport strike action.

The group said it had taken steps to offset the impact on passengers of air traffic control (ATC) industrial action – with ATC strike days up 40 per cent already in the year to date against 2019.
