The debate around converting offices to residential has raged ever since we gingerly emerged from the first Covid-19 lockdown, though notably the main protagonists are generally not from the property sector.

While obviously well-meaning, the conversion debate has remained mostly aspirational and based on anticipated wide-ranging social changes such as working from home. Such changes were clearly apparent during the low ebbs of the pandemic but have considerably waned as normality resumes.
