Sports giant aims to win on lower prices

Sports Direct, the sports clothing and shoes giant that is seeking approval to acquire Heatons, is planning to compete strongly on price in the Irish market, it has said.

Documents submitted to the competition watchdog by the company said it planned to increase price competition here by increasing supply of products and having reduced operating costs.
