Row after President's wife made remarks to Nursing and Midwifery Board
Sabina Higgins has come under severe criticism from pro-life groups today over her remarks on abortion and foetal abnormalities.
One organisation claimed that comments made by Higgins, the wife of President Michael D Higgins, were both "hurtful and appalling".
The row broke out after Higgins said it was an "outrage" against women that in the case of "foetal abnormality" that a person should be "made carry" the baby.
