News Corp in £220m offer for Wireless Group
Former UTV Media owns radio stations in Ireland
Media giant News Corp has announced plans to buy Wireless Group in an offer worth about £220.3m.
Wireless Group, which has a listing on the Dublin stock market, was formerly known as UTV Media and ownsa number of radio stations in Britain and Ireland, including Dublin's Q102 and FM104 and Cork's 96FM. It also owns Talksport in Britain.
