Kerry Group chief confident of its strength despite global slowdown

McCarthy says Kerry has the firepower to consolidate its larger acquisitions into the future

If the Kerry Group survived the turmoil in the years after 2008, it can survive a future global slowdown, according to its chief executive Stan McCarthy.

Despite the threat of a Chinese slowdown, commodity price turmoil, plummeting oil prices, emerging markets recession, and Brexit, McCarthy is confident.

“Today bears no resemblance to 2009, 2010, or 2011, if you ask me,” McCarthy told The Sunday Business Post.
