Australian lender eyes up Irish expansion

Australian lender Pepper is weighing up the expansion of its Irish lending operations to include small businesses and individuals in need of funding to complete debt deals with vulture funds, The Sunday Business Post understands.

The lender, which would not comment on its plans for the lending market, has in the last two months hired the former head of commercial real estate with Permanent TSB, Alan O’Grady.
