Green Party’s Leddin criticises ‘ridiculous’ TII report into lowering speed limits

Report from transport body suggested a reduction in speed limits on motorways and national roads would have only minimal impact on emissions while resulting in up to 35 more deaths a year

A report into the impact of reducing speed limits on emissions has been branded “ridiculous” by the Green Party’s spokesman on Transport, Energy and Climate Action.
